Report a correction
If a figure, source, geography label, or explanation looks wrong, report it through the contact form so it can be checked against the source and build rules.
What counts as a correction
- A value attached to the wrong city, year, unit, indicator, or geography.
- A calculation, rank, or comparison that does not match the published inputs.
- A broken or incorrect source link, citation, vintage, coverage note, or update date.
- A methodology statement that does not match the data pipeline.
- A typo, broken internal link, inaccessible control, or misleading page label.
What to include
Use the contact form and choose "Corrections". Include the page URL, the specific figure or wording, what you believe is wrong, and the source that supports the change. Screenshots help with display problems, but a page URL is still needed.
If the dispute concerns an upstream authority's published value rather than this site's transcription or processing, say so. Cities of Europe can correct its own work, but it cannot revise an official source dataset.
What happens next
The operator checks the report against the source file, geography grain, field recipe, and rendered page. Confirmed errors are fixed in the relevant data, code, methodology, or content. Material corrections will be described publicly on this page when there is something useful to record.
There is no correction entry yet. An empty record is more honest than a made-up history.
